Constable dies in motor vehicle crash |

|
Apolice constable attached to the Kingston and St Andrew Major Investigation Task Force died as a result of injuries he received in a motor vehicle collision yesterday. He has been identified as Dwayne Brown. Reports are that about 2 a.m., Brown was driving a Honda Civic motor car on King Street in Linstead, St Catherine, when he allegedly collided into a utility pole. He sustained multiple injuries and was taken to hospital where he was pronounced dead. Meanwhile, Commissioner of Police Owen Ellington has extended his condolences to the family, friends and co-workers of the deceased policeman. By the same token, the commissioner is urging all members of the Jamaica Constabulary Force to be careful when using public thoroughfares. |
