![]() Raheem Sterling Fathers were acknowledge through various social-media sites on Father's Day. Amid worldwide phenomena that is 2014 FIFA World Cup, England national footballer Raheem Sterling took to twitter to reflect on his departed father: "Happy Father's Day dad, 17 years gone but not forgotten, @itsJahmiel real fathers touch me, love you dad, everything I do is for you". Born in Kingston, Sterling plays for English Premier League club Liverpool. Having just released the video for Real Fathers, Jahmiel is elated that the message is heard. "This is why I make music, to touch people, and I am happy to know that the song brought Raheem some comfort," said the young singer. Produced by billboard-topping producer Notnice, Real Father, on the 'Devotion' rhythm, has gradually made its way on to various reggae charts. The video, filmed in Jamaica, was directed by Kalila Anderson and Ricardo Williams, featuring cameos by Bugle, Richie Feelings, Vybrant, Gyptian, Keznamdi, Razz, Rum Blood, Clive Hunt and Notnice. "That song was inspired by my dad and the good fathers I know. I felt it was necessary, knowing that there's mostly mother songs out there in the music industry, and less for the fathers. I do have a great mom but my dad is supportive of the seven of us, too, so I represented for him and the real fathers of the Earth," said Jahmiel. |
