Another Chinese-operated business in May Pen, Clarendon, is now counting it losses following an early-morning armed robbery at the Guinep Tree haberdashery store.

The robbers, after breaking into the living quarters of the businessmen, stole a white Toyota Hiace minibus, laptops, cell phones, shoes, clothes and other items, before escaping in the stolen van.

The victims explained that they were playing computer games in their upstairs apartment sometime after 2 a.m., when three armed men broke into the apartment, tied them up and began searching for cash and other valuables.
