Reggae artiste Noddy Virtue is set to release his double CD album called Addiction.

The artiste who is a former 'Digicel Rising Stars' finalist, is currently signed to Reflection Music, operated by reggae producer Gladstone Wright, and according to Virtue's publicist Luxsuko Campbell, fans have long awaited this project.

"Noddy has placed a lot of time and effort into this project and we are confident that music lovers will appreciate the work that we have put in. Fans have been asking for Noddy's music because he has a very captivating sound and is arguably one of the top male vocalist from the new generation of musicians," Luxsuko said.

Addiction features 20 cover songs, which includes five collaborations with gospel and reggae artiste Jodian Pantry.

Noddy Virtue achieved local respect for his ability to deliver strong cover versions, notably his near perfect rendition of Jimmy Cliff's Many Rivers to Cross which cemented his place as a finalist in the highly competitive Rising Stars competition back in 2005.

"Fans of Noddy will be getting a package that will last for many years because the vocals on this album are very good. Addiction is a collector's item and everybody should get their hands on a copy," Luxsuko said.

Following the release of Addiction, Noddy Virtue and Reflection Music will release another album which will feature predominantly original songs composed by the artiste. That effort will carry 16 tracks including the Robert Livingston-produced Want You In My Life, released under Big Yard Records.

According to the publicist, the title for the follow-up album will not be released just yet. However, the contents of that album will show music lovers Noddy Virtue's true capability to compose his own material.

"We are doing a lot of work, its no accident we are looking to release two albums in one year. Noddy has come of age as an artiste and the albums will attest to that," he said.

Addiction will be available at all online stores including Amazon, iTunes and CD Baby. The artiste and his team are executing a promotional campaign to create awareness about the projects.
