An Ananda Alert has been raised for 14-year-old Jhermelia Grant of Shakespeare Avenue in Kingston 20. She has been missing since last Friday.

The Jamaica Constabulary Force's Corporate Communications Unit reports that Grant is of dark complexion, medium build and is about five feet, five inches tall.

According to the police, Grant was last seen at home about 7:45 Friday evening. She was dressed in a blue jeans dress and a pair of white slippers. She has not been seen or heard from since. Several subsequent efforts to contact her have so far proved futile.

Anyone knowing the whereabouts of Jhermelia Grant is being asked to contact the Duhaney Park police at 933-4280, police 119 emergency number or the nearest police station.
