When The weekend STAR spoke to Tessanne Chin late last month, the songstress was not keen on revealing the release date for her latest album, simply stating that the works were well advanced.

Now it seems that date is set and its all systems go for the season-five winner of NBC's The Voice.

Online media have reported that the album, Count On My Love is set for a June 24 release and will feature productions from Grammy-winning songwriter Diane Warren and Toby Gad, (who has worked with the likes of Beyonce), R&B duo Rock City, (who has written for Rihanna), Claude Kelly, and One Republic's Ryan Tedder, who was responsible for producing her Tumbling Down single.

Chin is reported to have told media the album will have "island swag", and will include reggae-infused tracks that reflect her personality.

On Tuesday night, Chin made a guest appearance on the season six semi-final show for NBC's The Voice, where she performed her new single, Everything Reminds Me Of You.

Following her performance, Twitter erupted as fans applauded the singer's performance, expressing support and excitement for the up-and-coming album.

The singer will reunite with her fellow Voice contestant this summer as The Voice Tour kicks off in June.

She told The weekend STAR that though it might be challenging, she is looking forward to the tour which runs until August.
