Lady Taz's 'New Man' doing well |
|||||
Lady Taz Brass Gates Music recording artiste Lady She released a video for the song to rave reviews last week. The video is now playing on HYPE, RE, CVM and MD TV. On Easter Monday, she performed on the Jamaica International Kite Fest, where she took the stage to huge roars from the large crowd. She kicked off her set with the Alicia Keyes cover, It's A New Day, before seguing into New Man, and her raunchy song, Punaany. The crowd roared during the suggestive lyrics of Punaany, a duet with Rawma, and she was forced to pull up the song and do it again. Lady Taz is forcing FM radio to sit up and pay attention to her lyrical stylings which reflect the best of reggae and R&B genres. "New Man is a celebration of my liberation from a relationship that lasted three years, and it felt like I wasted three years; the thing is that you don't know it is a waste while it is going on," joked the singer, born Tazurdee Fortunato.
