When did you get saved: I got saved when I was 17. I have been saved for more than 40 years.

Tell us about the moment you got your conviction: I was sitting at the back of my high-school library. A friend of mine, a Christian, was talking to my cousin. I was at the back and they were up front. I had no idea what he was saying to her, but whatever he was saying to her came to me. I realised I needed to accept Christ as my Saviour. I accepted Him right there in the back of the library with nobody talking to me. The person he was talking to lived to age 60. I don't think he accepted the Lord but I did.

What has been your most challenging moment since becoming a Christian: My father's death, recently, but today I got what I think is a new command. My father was a lay preacher. My brothers and my sisters teased me about the ministry. As of today, I am going to be a 5' 2" preaching machine. I don't preach. I do everything else in church except preach, but that's going to change. This has come about because of the passing of my father and my learning how much he worked in the church. So his legacy is going to live on.

Message to Christians: Be faithful and do not be too hard on yourself. Be as forgiving as God is; because, as Christians, we still make mistakes, because we are still living on earth. Go easy with yourself and trust God.

Message to non-Christians: Hurry up, get ready, there is no time to waste, because you don't know tomorrow. You can only see today. You know this minute but you don't know the next. Just like that, you can be gone. You don't have a second chance. there is no second chance after death. So, hurry and get ready.
