Bubbling Angeline favourite for 1000 Guineas

Ante-post favourite BUBBLING ANGELINE will run from post position four with leading all-time jockey Winston Griffiths riding for 14-time champion trainer Philip Feanny in Saturday's C.D. Alexander Realty Company 1000 Guineas over 1600 metres for native bred three-year-old fillies at Caymanas Park.

At yesterday's live draw in the Trainers' Room at Caymanas, 12 starters were declared at the overnight stage, including three from the stables of champion trainer Wayne DaCosta.

These are STREET DANCER under stable jockey Dick Cardenas, ALSO CORRECT with Shane Ellis slated and MISS JUANITA to be ridden by champion apprentice Shamaree Muir, who won aboard her over 1300 metres last Sunday.

The full field in post position order are BLACK THORN, STREET DANCER, GAGA LADY, BUBBLING ANGELINE, LIAR LIAR, KABRINA, SHEER MADDNESS, SPARKLING MICHAELA, ALSO CORRECT, MISS JUANITA, RAVEN RENAE and QUEEN PAULA who finished second to BUBBLING ANGELINE in the recent trial, the Thornbird Stakes over 1400 metres.

The draw was conducted live by representatives of Caymanas Track Limited, including racing secretary Denzil Miller Jr, first-time sponsor C.D. Alexander Realty Company, represented by general manager, Franz Jobson, and operations steward, Haldene Johnansen.

As part of the Guineas Day promotion, C.D. Alexander will offer prizes to the winning grooms of each race. Featured artiste on Saturday will be John Holt.

The C.D. Alexander 2000 Guineas for native bred colts and geldings will be run on Saturday, April 12.

Both classics offer purses of $3.25 million.
