Norris Gilbert, a 20-year veteran accountant, has been waiting on the perfect device that allows him to edit his accounting excel documents with ease while on the go. Gilbert is now the owner of a brand new Samsung Galaxy Tablet, thanks to telecommunications leader, Digicel.

By talking for more than 20 minutes on his postpaid phone, Gilbert has joined 30 other lucky customers who won smart devices, data plans and passes to Bacchanal Fridays in the company's Conquer Di Riddim promotion.

Gilbert, who is eager to start testing out his new tablet said, "I have smartphones that I use to access information, but I have been longing for a device that allows me to edit my documents as well. I don't know much about this device but I am looking forward to exploring what it has in store for me."

Highlighting some of the key features of the Samsung Galaxy tablet that are relevant to Gilbert, Digicel's Head of Recharge Annalise Harewood said, "With this device, Gilbert has access to a plethora of apps like Docs To Go, the note feature, the multi-window mode that allows him to multitask, as well as the size of the tablet itself for easy viewing of his documents".

Launched late February, Digicel's Conquer Di Riddim promotion ends on April 17 and allows customers to win DL700 smartphones, Samsung Galaxy tablets, data plans and other exciting prizes. All they have to do is top up their prepaid accounts with $200 or more, talk for 20 minutes on their postpaid phones, activate data plans and pay their 4G broadband bills on time and in full.
