Star Tell Me Pastor

Sex three times weekly is insufficient

Dear Pastor,

I am writing to comment on the letter published on February 19, 2014, captioned 'Not enough sex'. Pastor, generally, I love your advice but I totally disagree with you on this one. The guy has a right to sexually satisfy himself when it's possible because his woman is not ill or disabled. They are both young and vibrant. Why would a 24-year-old woman give her man sex only three times a week? That is very bad; shame on her. That is insufficient. If she is laying down rules on sex now, what would happen after they tie the knot and have kids?

I would advise him to leave her now and not wait until they are legally married. Pastor, think about it, if she wasn't getting what she wants from him (money, love, etc) she would not agree to marry him. She is his woman and sex is a part of her role. Maybe she has even given him the days and time when he can only get a little sex from her.

Sir, if it was your son and he told you that his woman is withholding sex from him, I don't think you would be happy. Everyone wants the best for their loved ones and this guy is clearly not happy. She is only doing herself bad by running him away.

Miss T

Dear Miss T,

You disagree with what this woman is doing. You believe that she ought to have sex with her man more than three times per week. And if she doesn't, she is giving him reasons to go outside of the relationship. What these two people should do is go and see a family counsellor for professional help.

I know that some couples have sexual intercourse every night. It is a routine. Some women demand it even when their husbands are tired. The women would not sleep unless their husbands make love to them. But the writer of the letter considers that having sex three times a week isn't enough. Shouldn't he be considered greedy?
