Nature delivers exciting performances

Downsound recording artiste Nature spent almost all of last week shooting the music video for his latest single, Retarded. He also juggled several studio sessions and rehearsals as well as a photo shoot during the week.

"The week was very hectic, but I'm used to it. That's how the music business is, it requires a lot of hard work for you to be successful."

Nature also did three consecutive performances last Sunday. First, he journeyed from Kingston to Westmoreland to perform at the annual Peter Tosh tribute in Belmont.

Performing songs such as Trying Man, No Gun Around, World Peace and Hello Mama Africa, Nature received huge forwards from the audience.

"The people really appreciated my performance at the Peter Tosh tribute, it was a really nice vibes. Peter Tosh is a legend and I'm happy that I was able to perform at his tribute and show my respect to him for all the great work that he has done as a revolutionary and a reggae artiste," said Nature.

From Westmoreland, Nature went and performed at the first annual Blue Mountain Music Festival, where he delivered another masterful performance.

Nature closed off the night with a riveting performance at the Dennis Brown tribute on the Kingston waterfront.

"When I left Westmoreland, I was even more ready than before to perform at the other shows later in the night, because of all the positive energy and the love the people showed me. I just carried over the same vibes to the Blue Mountain Music Festival and the Dennis Brown tribute. This year is my year, I can tell. Everywhere I go, the people give me their approval," said the artiste.
