HOT dancehall/reggae act I-Octane is set to scorch the stage at Caymanas Live on Wednesday, February 26, following Busy Signal's scintillating set in January.

David Hobson, executive marketing manager, CTL, said I-Octane's presence at the track will be value for money, "an entertainment package you can't get anywhere else."

"There is no extra charge. It's the regular gate prices - grandstand $100; club stand, $200; reserve club stand, $400; and north lounge, $600. You can't get that calibre of artiste anywhere for that price," Hobson pointed out.

"I-Octane had a very good 2013, closing some of the biggest stage shows such as Reggae Sumfest. He is always current on radio and, as the sponsor, McKay Security said, we are only featuring chart toppers," Hobson added.

Jason McKay, CEO, McKay Security, said I-Octane is bound to be a sure crowd-puller on the midweek racecard.

"I-Octane not only has some of the biggest songs on the road now, he is also a Digicel and Busta Soft Drink ambassador. I am sure the track could have its biggest ever crowd for a Wednesday race meet," Mckay pointed out.

The artiste has been a staple on the local entertainment scene since 2009 with hits such as Mama You Alone and Lose A Friend.

Mega hits such as Puff It and My Life were followed by Burn Dem Bridge. His 2012 debut album, Crying To The Nation, featured as its lead single, the lovers' ballad, L.O.V.E. Y.O.U., showcasing I-Octane's versatility.

He ended the year strong with a string of hit singles including Badmind Dem A Pree, a collaboration with Bounty Killer as well as Love Di Vibes and the lyrically charged Gal A Gimmi Bun.
