JustBet offers betting on bobsleigh

With just a few days to go before the Jamaica bobsleigh team bows into action at the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi, Russia, Supreme Ventures, through its JustBet sports betting brand, has released odds on Jamaica's team for the two-man event at the Games.

JustBet has listed Jamaica at odds of $150 (or 149 to 1) to win gold, odds of $100 (or 99 to 1) to win silver or bronze, odds of $50 (or 49 to 1) to finish from fourth to tenth, odds of $4 (or 3 to 1) to finish from 11th to 20th, odds of $1.40 (or 2-5) to finish from 21st to 25th and odds of $1.65 (or 13-20) to finish 26th or lower.

The final of the two-man bobsleigh event takes place next Monday, February 17.

Commenting on the JustBet bobsleigh bet offering, Andrei Roper, senior marketing officer for sports betting at Supreme Ventures, said: "Supreme Ventures joins with the Jamaican public in throwing its full support behind the Jamaica bobsleigh team, as we wish them all the best in the two-man event at the Winter Olympics. Jamaica first qualified for the Winter Olympics in 1988 in Calgary, Canada, before going on to compete at the 1992, 1994, and 1998 Games. Jamaica last competed in the 2002 Winter Olympics in Salt Lake City, Utah. Jamaica's best performance at any Winter Olympics was their 14 place finish at the 1994 Games in Norway.
