Janitor sentenced for stealing phonecards |

|
A Janitor was sentenced to 10 days imprisonment in the Corporate Area Resident Magistrate's Court for stealing a variety of phone cards. Charged with larceny is 49-year-old Millicent Palmer. She pleaded guilty to the offence. The court heard that, on February 1, Palmer stole four ($500), two ($400), eight ($100) and 19 ($200) phone cards property, of LIME, from an office where she was employed to clean. The court was told that the store is located on Knutsford Boulevard in New Kingston. The phone had cards value of $10,800. A fingerprint order was also made against Palmer. |
