Ex-lovers Granville Kingand Diane Brownehave different versions about the paternity of a two-year-old boy, but the two are in agreement that only a DNA test can bring closure to the matter.

The couple was part of a short-lived relationship that started in 2011, but when Browne's pregnancy was revealed, King didn't accept that he was not the father.

King, 49, a small businessman, said he knew that he had impregnated Browne, and he was the first to tell her that she was pregnant.

He said: Me could a feel seh she was pregnant because me start feel sick, have headache and did a vomit. So me tell her that she was pregnant and tell her when she was gonna have baby. So, to me, it means dat after she became pregnant, she got involved with the next man.

Browne, 34, unemployed, said that she ended their relationship because King was too talkative and they were not compatible.

She said: I told him that the baby is not his child and he is still insisting. Dis man tell everybody me business, so me and him couldn't get along.

Browne said that while she was along with King, she was taking contraceptive pills, and it was after leaving him that she became pregnant for another man.

He said: Di baby look just like me, him have my nose, cheeks, and everything, even my family came from overseas and said that di baby look like me.

Browne laughed at King's idea that the baby is the splitting image of him, as she confirmed with THE STAR that her former lover has lost his sight.

She said: Me nuh know where him get that from because me and him black and the baby is brown just like his real daddy. As a matter of fact, he is not able to see. A mussi glimpse him mussi glimpse fi see di baby.

King said that he has not lost all of his sight and his eye problem is not preventing him from doing his daily routine.

He said: I want to support my child, so I want to find out the truth, so that the child can get my surname. If I should do the test, and get back a negative result I wouldn't understand dat because it's my child.

She said: Me and this man is not in no dealings. I just want the results once and for all.
