PORT-OF-SPAIN, Trinidad 9CMC):

Jamaica scored their second win in the NAGICO Super50 tournament yesterday. Led by John Campbell's 71, Jamaica cruised to an easy six-wicket win over Ireland at the Queen's Park Oval in Trinidad and Tobago.

The result meant that Ireland are out of contention for a semi-final spot, while Jamaica have virtually sewn up a last four place from Zone A with one preliminary-round fixture remaining against Guyana.

Pacers André Russell, three for 19 and Jerome Taylor, three for 34, first restricted Ireland to 161 all out in 46.1 overs. Niall O'Brian top-scored for Ireland with 35 while Alex Cusack made 30.

When Jamaica batted, Campbell hit six fours and two sixes off 80 balls before he was bowled by Max Sorensen. Tamar Lambert made 27 and Nkrumah Bonner, 22. Sorensen was Ireland's leading bowler bagging two for 17 from his four overs.

Scores: Ireland 161 all out in 46.1 overs (O'Brian 35, Cusack 30, Russell 3-19, Taylor 3-34) Jamaica 166 for four in 29 overs (Campbell 71, Sorensen 2-17).

The tournament continues today with Guyana facing the Windward Islands in a Zone A match starting at 1 p.m. (Ja time).
