A popular female dancehall artiste is being derided, after an image of her taking a picture in a bathroom, with a female underwear in the background, went viral online.

The image, which found its way online early last week, has received hundreds of views and shares on Facebook, along with numerous memes of the image being created in mockery of the artiste.

In the image, the female artiste can be seen in a bathroom in front of a mirror fully clothed, holding a white cellular phone, while posing and taking a picture of herself, apparently unaware of the blue underwear hoisted in the shower in the picture's top left hand corner.

Most viewers of the image laughed at the artiste, while others warned about being cautious.

"LOL! That's why you need to always check out surroundings before you post and tek pics! What an embarrassment!" a viewer stated.

While another remarked, "How she ah hot gyal and have panty hang up inna bathroom! DWL!"

Efforts to get a comment from the artiste were unsuccessful.
