At any entertainment event when good music and a good atmosphere go well together, it becomes perfect. And then adding a fun-craving, energetic crowd to the mix is like the perfect icing on a mouth-watering, sweet-to-the-belly cake.

Xtremely Wet, held recently at Oneil's Place car park, St Andrew, gave its patrons such an experience with remarkable little effort - everything just flowed perfectly.

Kudos to main sponsors Rumfire Rum. Their involvement and contribution were immaculate, according to organisers Arantes Jackson of Sure Advertising Agency and Ranford Pinnock of Nitelite Promotions, who were all smiles throughout the night, as their attempt exceeded most expectations.

The music was just as good, if not bettering all other positives. DJ Flabba Dadda led the way as he glided cunningly through the already wet and slippery fibres of those patrons, who were already making the most of the foam and water being pumped from a truck.

His musical assault triggered a type of reaction never witnessed at any other water party event - a dagger train, the skittles blast and foam bliss, seem to have meant the world to those patrons.

In between Flabba Dabba's set saw very impressive displays by Kurt D Flurt, Ali Patch, Laing D and May Pen's finest Sir Toxik.

Leading up to the event many patrons' appetites were whet. At the end, they were duly satisfied.
