All is set for another intriguing season of track and field with the first meet on the Jamaica Administrative Athletics Association (JAAA) calendar, the Pure Water/JC Development Meet, getting under way tomorrow on the school grounds, starting at 8:30 a.m. "Most of the top high school teams, along with several institutions, have sent entries and all is in place for a competitive meet, and we should see some great things. Despite this being the first meet of the year, coaches will want to make sure that their charges qualify early," said Forbes. proud "The meet has evolved over the years and continues to be a staple for track and field lovers. The Organising Committee has taken pride in the partnerships developed over the years with our sponsors, and we are proud to say in 2014 that Peak Bottling Company, through their brand Purewater, is our sponsor, for this we say thanks," he added. The meet will take on even greater significance this year with the Coco Cola IAAF World Junior Championships set to be staged July 22-27 in Eugene, Oregon, in the United Sates.
