Defending Red Stripe Premier League champions Harbour View continued their impressive form as they notched their seventh consecutive victory to extend their unbeaten run to 10 games following yesterday evening's 1-0 win over Rivoli United at the Harbour View Mini-Stadium. The game's lone goal was scored by Donovan Edwards in the 61st minute; his second of the season. The Stars of the East lead the 12-team standing with 29 points. Rivoli were on the wrong end of the 1-0 scoreline, which they had inflicted on their opponents in their previous two matches. Rivoli remain fifth on goal difference, having amassed 18 points. Montego Bay United, formerly Seba, are still waiting for their first victory over Portmore United since returning to the premier league in 2011 after the teams played to a 0-0 draw at Ferdie Neita Park. The encounter marked the eighth league meeting between the two teams in three seasons, with Portmore having recorded four victories and the other four ending in draws. Montego Bay United hold on to second place on 23 points. Portmore have finally lifted themselves off the foot of the table, moving up to 11th courtesy of a superior goal difference to August Town as both teams have 11 points. same opponents August Town, who had gone unbeaten for the opening six rounds of the season, before losing 2-0 to Boys' Town, are now winless in their last seven games following yesterday's 1-0 loss to the same opponents at Collie Smith Drive. Boys' Town got their goal courtesy of André Dawkins in the 27th minute, as they climb to eighth on 16 points. August Town, who regained promotion to the league at the beginning of the season, played the majority of the game with 10 players following the sending off of Larone Russell in the 43rd minute. Arnett Gardens shrugged off their sluggish start to the season to record a 2-1 victory over Tivoli Gardens in the west-Kingston derby contested at the Edward Seaga Complex. Newton Sterling and Jarmar Jackson scored in the 13th and 66th minutes, respectively, to earn the Junglists, only their fourth victory of the season to date and move them one place up the standing to ninth, on 15 points. Tivoli's consolation goal was netted by Christopher Jackson in the 79th minute, and they are still searching for their first victory over Arnett since February 8, 2012, spanning six games. They, however, remain third on 18 points. Arnett ended the game with 10 players after Andre Clennon committed his second bookable offence in the 75th minute and was ejected by referee Gawane Scott.
