The Sagicor Jamaica Group has launched its 'Pay It Forward' Christmas initiative for a local charity to earn J$100,000.

The initiative, which was launched on December 6, allows customers and members of the public to submit entries not exceeding 500 words via email, outlining which registered charitable organisation they believe is the most deserving of $100,000, courtesy of Sagicor. Entries are to be posted via Sagicor's Facebook page (www.facebook.com/SagicorJamaica), permitting members of the Sagicor online community to express their preferences by 'liking' the entries.

Last year's recipient was Best Care Lodge, which caters to physically and mentally challenged children between six and 18. This year's entries close on December 24. The winning charity will be announced on December 30.
