19-year-old on larceny rap gets bail |

A contrite 19-year-old woman who admitted to stealing items from the home of a man she met at a conference will be sentenced in the Corporate Area Resident Magistrate's Court on January 7. Jade Brown, charged with larceny from the dwelling, was offered bail in the sum of $20,000. need some time The prosecution said she stole a Samsung Galaxy tab, 31 Digicel $100 call cards, a Compaq computer and $21,000 among other things. "I just need some time to pay back the money. I took the items and I am asking friends to help me pay for it. I am a foster child, I don't have any parents. I don't know who my parents are," Brown explained. Senior Resident Magistrate Judith Pusey ordered Brown to return on her next court date ready to make restitution. |
