Stacious says ... Let's Get Ready to Rumble Davina Henry, Staff Reporter
Although this will be her first selecting clash, the gangstress Stacious is no stranger to lyrical wars. Stacious will be going head-to-head tonight at the Famous Nightclub with the rebel Danielle DI. The artiste is fully prepared for the showdown, having visited the club for some of the other celeb face-offs over the past few weeks. "It's definitely going to be a fun show. People are going to see a side of the gangstress they don't see often, especially as of late," Stacious told THE STAR. She added that she and her selector have their songs in order, and are especially looking forward for the 'dub-fi-dub' round. Though not divulging a lot of information on her tactics for tomorrow, Stacious has already decided on her face-off outfit. "Is a war theme but mi definitely nah go lose mi sexiness. Mi sexy inna anything mi put on. A cudda garbage bag mi have on, mi wudda still sexy. Mi just know say dem a go love mi outfit," she said. With dubs being the major factor of any clash, Stacious had only one thing to say. "Mi get a dub from LA Lewis, when dem come Famous dem will find out the rest," she jokingly said. But what of her competitor DI? Stacious issued a warning by simply stating "Let's get ready to rumble." The canons fully loaded - Danielle D.I. sounds her warning André Williams, STAR Writer
As the curtains for the $1 million face-off comes down later tonight, fans will get one last chance to see a celebrity contest featuring The 'Rebel' Danielle DI. The Beat It, deejay will match up with Stacious and by all indications this selecting battle will be an epic encounter. Danielle DI told THE STAR that her preparation for the musical matchup has been intense. "Expect a great clash! This is the grand finale so you know this nah go down normal. Deal we a deal with dem wicked over Famous. Leather belt beat them with the strap, #TeamRebel a take this, no question about it," she said. She further stated that; "The canons them fully loaded and ready to blow." Danielle DI said compiling her dubs was a task but she was up for it. "My peers comply very well, I'm grateful for the support. Would love to call a few of the big names, but have to wait until tomorrow night," said the rebel. The deejay says she will maintain a busy schedule for the remainder of 2013 and things are set to manifest into the new year. She told THE STAR, "Right now is a lot going on. My latest video My Man is doing tremendously well. It's now available on the largest music video platform in the world, Vevo thanks to my agent Keona Williams. My album, Sly and Robbie Presents the Rebel is improving in sales, big up to Tads, Rorey and the Riddim Twins. I have two new video dropping to close out the year, Talk It out with Tiana and Rules.
