Harbour View's head coach, Harold Thomas, is confident that his team can extend their seven-game unbeaten streak when they host Tivoli Gardens in the 11th round of the Red Stripe Premier League tomorrow at the Harbour View Stadium, with game time set for 6:30 p.m.

The defending champions have been in impressive form, winning their last four league matches, this after finding themselves second from bottom after the opening three rounds.

The Stars of the East are now second in the 12-team table, on goal difference, as they have amassed 20 points; the same as leaders Montego Bay United.

"It would be a good Christmas if we are sitting atop the table all by ourselves," Thomas said.

"We are confident, but at the same time we are aware of the dangers that lurk."

Harbour View has failed to get the better of the Glendon 'Admiral' Bailey-coached Tivoli in their last six meetings, with the last victory coming on December 14, 2011. However, all four league meetings between the two teams ended in draws last season.

"The rivalry that these teams have always brings out the best in terms of performances from both down the years," Thomas said.

"Tivoli is a hard-running team, a quality team and games between us have been known to be fairly aggressive. We anticipate that it will continue in that vein and essentially we are ready for it.

Tivoli comes into the fixture lying fifth with 15 points, but despite having not tasted defeat in their previous four league outings, have played to stalemates in the last two.

"We know the quality that we have in our team, but they are just inconsistent; sometimes they turn up, sometimes they don't," Tivoli's assistant coach Alvin Shaw said.

"If we can get them (players) in the right frame of mind then we can go to Harbour View and get three points."

Tivoli could be forgiven for taking a cautious approach to the game given their current league position, but Shaw has no intention of settling for anything less than three points.

"Presently, we are in fifth position, so we can't be satisfied with a draw," Shaw said.

While Harbour have no serious injury concerns, Tivoli are set to be without Damion Gordon and Christopher Jackson, who have both suffered with knee injuries and Navion Boyd, who has been plagued by a groin problem.
