Sprint king Usain Bolt was, as expected, the toast of the Racers Track Club Zenith Awards, which took place at The Jamaica Pegasus hotel recently.

Bolt, who continued his global domination at the IAAF World Champion-ships in Moscow, winning gold medals in the 100m, 200m and the 4x100m relay, added to his IAAF World Athlete of the Year Award by copping the Most Outstanding Performer (Male) for 2012 and 2013 awards at the function.

Schillonie Calvert, who was a part of Jamaica's gold medal-winning women's 4x100m relay team, was named the Most Outstanding Female Performer. She also walked away with the Most Improved Female Athlete award for 2012, rounding off a positive evening for her.

Olympic 200m bronze medallist Warren Weir was the Most Improved Male Athlete in 2012, with Rosemarie Whyte named as the Most Outstanding Female Athlete for 2012 for her 50.00 400m personal best run in Zagreb.

400m hurdles new boy Annsert Whyte, who qualified to the World Championships in Moscow and took his personal best in the event from 52.58 to 49.17, was named the Most Improved Male Athlete in 2013, with Ristananna Tracey picking up the female award.

Evrald Edwards and Shaun Kettle received the Therapist Award for 2012, with Gavin James taking the 2013 award.

Gregory Little was given the Coaches Award of Merit for 2012, while Leeroy Gray got this year's award.
