Students sexually assaulted at St Catherine |

Rasbert Turner, Star Writer The police say an investigation is underway in the sexual assault of four students at a high school in St Catherine on Thursday. Police report that about 10:30 a.m., the students went to an area of the school's compound. While there, they were attacked by an intruder who sexually assaulted them. Security presence "A probe has been started by the Centre for Investigation of Sexual Offences and Child Abuse (CISOCA). As a result, much cannot be divulged at this time," an investigator close to the matter said. It was revealed that security presence has since been strengthened. The Star was informed that a trauma team has since counselled students and teachers. No arrest has been made in the incident which has left the community tense. |
