Kenwyne Jones - File PORT-OF-SPAIN, Trinidad (CMC): Ataulla Guerra scored his second goal in two matches as Trinidad and Tobago defeated Jamaica 2-0 on Tuesday night to complete a clean sweep of their two-game friendly international series. Guerra put the Soca Warriors ahead four minutes after the interval and captain Kenwyne Jones secured the win with a penalty strike in the 73rd minute at the Hasely Crawford Stadium. Guerra cut inside from the left flank and dribbled to the centre of the penalty area before unloading a powerful low drive into the corner of the goal. Jones' penalty emanated from a play on the left side involving Rundell Winchester, who slipped past his marker to dart into the box where he was brought down, giving Surinamese referee Enrico Winjgaarde no choice but to point to the spot. Trinidad and Tobago's win over Jamaica ensures a 3-0 victory on aggregate following their 1-0 win in the first game in Montego Bay last week. Prior to kick-off, Port Vale midfielder and Trinidad and Tobago player, Christopher Birchall, was recognised as he officially brought the curtains down on his international career, while another veteran, Carlos Edwards, of Ipswich Town, was also recognised for his service to the Soca Warriors.
