Reports from the Marine Police are that, about 2 p.m., a team of officers were on marine patrol in Hillshire Pond, St Catherine, when men were seen jumping from a 28 foot vessel.

This aroused the suspicion of the officers. A subsequent search of the vessel revealed two bags containing 160 lb (72.73 kilograms) of marijuana.

No arrest was made in connection with the find.

Members of the Marine Division and the Transnational Crime and Narcotics Division are investigating.
