I-Octane blazed the stage during Pink Panther's birthday bash

The quiet parish of Manchester was ignited with excitement and entertainmenton Saturdayas sound system operator Pink Panther held his birthday celebration on Main Street in the cool town of Christiana.

It wasn't just the live performances that had the crowd's undivided attention at the Guinness-sponsored event, but they were entertained by the music powered by Bass Odyssey, Ricky Trooper, Black Kat, Bad Ras and Kilamanjaro. This was accompanied by seductive and acrobatic dance moves by the sexy Guinness promotional girls.

By 2 a.m., the patrons were treated to live performances from upcoming acts like JaDore, Villa Dutch, Dalton Harris, Rae Tae, Esco Levi and Rozay. The other performances were short and spicy and among those that had patrons igniting their torches were Loyal Flames, D-Major, Charly Black and Nesbeth.

Reggae singer Romain Virgo and dancehall artiste I-Octane also took turns rocking the stage, delivering hits like Mama You Alone, Don't You Remember, Gal a Gimme Bun and Rain is Falling.

Guinness brand manager, Racquel Nevins, said that Pink Panther is a staple on the entertainment scene in Jamaica and Guinness would not have missed the opportunity to partner.

"Pink Panther has contributed tremendously to what is known as the sound system movement in Jamaica. This has had a major impact on music as a whole and the development of reggae and dancehall. Guinness is pleased to be a part of this event. Happy birthday and all the best," Nevins said.
