Guh Hard Productions recording artiste, Ricky Frass, is generating a big buzz with his new single, 'She Like Me'.

"The response has been phenomenal, so far. everybody ah blow up mi phone, friends from May Pen, mi bredrin dem from town also. The video up up up, mi no get not even one negative comment," Ricky Frass said.

He is looking forward to appearances on stage shows for the Christmas season - Pleasant Valley in May Pen, and 'Sizzla in Concert' in St Thomas.

"The way the ting ah shot, mi ah see mi picture pon poster where mi not even know the promoter. Mi just waan the people dem go pon YouTube to watch the video and pree the ting. big up Davian Dellamy, who ah govern the ting," he said.

Ricky Frass first gained recognition with the popular single, Tired, on the 'Big Dog' rhythm last year. He has emerged as an artiste who is more than a two-dimensional character singing about girls, guns and weed, he is capable of songs with great meaning.

Born on July 10, 1987, Ricky Frass was raised in Clarendon and attended Frankfield Primary School and then Edwin Allen High School. He attended G C Foster College of Physical Education and earned a diploma in teaching - physical-education course, March 2010.

However, it was music that remained his first and true love.

Destiny smiled on him when Gareth Campbell, one of the founders of Board House Records, recognised his talent and signed him to the label.

"Mi give thanks because he realised that, with right guidance, I could be molded into a successful recording artiste. It was under his wings where I recorded a few of my tracks, Want Some Money Right Now and a collaboration with Flippa Mafia, Really And Truly, which had a short airplay in Jamaica," he said.

Frass has big hopes for She Like Me, which is bombing the airwaves into submission.

He recently appeared on FIWI Choice Top Ten show and made an appearance on 'Full House Fridays' on FAME FM.

He has left Board House Records and has inked a deal with Guh Hard Productions.
