A man who is accused of behaving rowdy after he was requested to pay his bus fare had to answer for his actions when he appeared in the Corporate Area Resident Magistrates' Court recently. Charged with obtaining credit by fraud, assaulting a police, disorderly conduct and resisting arrest is Collin Dixon of a Kingston address. It is alleged that, last month, Dixon stepped off a bus without paying his bus fare, $100. The conductor brought it to the attention of a police officer who attempted to question him. It was reported that when Dixon was held by the lawman, he allegedly started to behave disorderly. He was subsequently arrested. Dixon, who denied the allegations, is to return to court for trial on December 12. |
