Reggae singer Dubkor is destined to be a force to reckon with in the Reggae music world.

Performing in an intimate setting, a small crowd of about 150 persons, at the Red Bones Blues Café, St Andrew, last Friday evening, he delivered a scintillating performance.

Dubkor's performance was more than an hour long and consisted of two sets.

During his first set, he mesmerised the audience with acoustic renditions of songs such as Shackles & Chains, Arrogant Man, Can't Sleep, Dream Girl, Madda Earth and Gideon.

The guest act on the bill, George Nooks, was also in fine form. The veteran reggae singer showed why he is rated among the best in the business by delivering a tight set that featured several of his timeless hits including Tribal War, Forty Leg, So Much Love To Give You and God Is Standing.

Accompanied by his band, the Pikkie Head Band, Dubkor closed the show with a very lively second set that included songs such as Veranda, Wait Son, Natural Thing, Love Story, Same Routine, Still Want More, Lot of Concerns, Defend the Endz and Rasta ManRiding.

According to Dubkor, the show was a very good experience for everyone in attendance.

"The show was very good. at first, we were worried that the show would not take place because of the heavy rainfall we experienced earlier during the day, but everything turned out fine. It was a very nice show. the audience enjoyed it a lot and all the artistes and musicians enjoyed it too."
