Fans of Tessanne Chin anxiously waited with bated breath for the songbird's name to be announced in the Top 10 finalists of The Voice.

With the competition now putting fans in charge, #TeamTessanne tweets were already dominating the social media site long before the bottom three were announced.

However, her fans did not need to utilise the newly implemented instant save feature as Tessanne was the first contestant from Team Adam to advance to the Top 10.

With tweets such as "Tessanne, we likkle but we tallawah!" and "Tessanne will go all the way," dominating the social media site, it came as no surprise that Tessanne's name became a trending topic immediately following the announcement.

Tessanne's husband, Michael Cuffe Jr, was clearly elated as he jumped out of his seat when his wife's name was announced.

Earlier in the night, Tessanne, along with some of the other contestants performed alongside Sara Bareilles.

Performing a rendition of The Beatles' A Hard Day's Night, Tessanne once again took to the stage with her coach Adam Levine and her other teammates.

Rounding out the Top 10 are Caroline Pennell, Matthew Schuler, Austin Jenckes, Jacquie Lee, Cole Vosbury, Will Champlin, Ray Boudreaux, James Wolpert and Kat Robichaud, who was saved by the instant save feature on Twitter.
