Trini man, 19-y-o found in shallow graves

Investigators in St Catherine have found bodies of a Trinidadian man and his female companion three weeks after they were reported missing.

They have been identified as Tiana Benneth, 19, of a Kingston address, and 35-year-old Kerron Frazier of Trinidad.

It is reported that the police have recovered the bodies outside Spanish Town.

THE STAR learnt that the bodies were recovered from shallow graves in bushes along Arlington Crescent in Duncans Pen.

The police said Benneth died as a result of strangulation. However, the cause of Frazier's death is inconclusive.

THE STAR learnt that the investigators started the search for the bodies about 11a.m. and ended at 2 p.m.

On October 18, Frazier is said to have rented a car. At the time, he was said to be heading to an unknown address in May Pen, Clarendon.

Frazier was never seen again.

On October 23, police personnel intercepted the rented car with two men aboard along the Spanish Town Bypass.

The men are still in custody.
