Although he has been on radio for the past two- years, Sunjock JJ Wizzle has been honing his craft as a disc jockey for over a decade.

JJ Wizzle is one of the most in- demand DJs at Portmore-based radio station Suncity Radio 104.9 FM. Outside of the station, he is consistently being booked to play at parties and events in and around the Sunshine City.

"I bring a lot to the game as far as keeping patrons entertained at an event. You have to be creative and try to maintain a consistent vibe once you are in control of the music," JJ Wizzle said, in a release to the media. "I've been a DJ for as long as I can remember but it's been two years that I started in radio."

Known by his fans as JJ Wizzle, he was born Paul Stephenson, and grew up in Westchester, Portmore. Music had a major influence on Stephenson from an early age, so it was no coincidence that he chose to follow his musical pursuits.

He is also involved in music production with the BMG production team which is also based in Portmore.

Among his recent dates are VIV Fridays at Club V in Portmore, Starlife at Famous Nightclub, a pool party in Hellshire, Portmore, and Wray and Nephew Water Worl which was held at Oneil's Place on Heroes Day.

The launch of Konz876 sneaker line at the Quad nightclub and the Maritime Fete at the Quad are among his recent gigs.

Sunjock JJ Wizzle can be heard on Suncity Radio Tuesdays from 2 to 6 a.m. Fridays from 6 to 10 p.m. and Saturdays 2 to 6 p.m.
