Ishawna 'Need Love' from a strong man |

![]() Dancehall music's darling face Ishawna, seems to know a lot about love. The often beautiful-looking songbird recently shot to number one in Jamaica for her pop-oriented single Do for Love, which also features Specialist. She is sure to follow up on such achievements with her latest effort, Need Love, which was produced by Downsound Records' (DSR) exec producer Scatta Burrell and CEO Joseph Bogdanovich and will be marketed by the label's marketing arm, Contractor's Marketing. Need Love is a slow dancehall hip-hop beat which was inspired by Mad Cobra's hit single Flex. In the song, Ishawna, real name Ishawna Smith, tells her strong desire for love from a strong man who will satisfy her desires. local success However, Ishawna is currently engaged to longtime boyfriend and DSR's selector, Foota Hype. Since she signed to the label, Ishawna seems to have found a home and her first two singles, Do for Love and Murderer have seen immense local success. Ishawna has also performed at all the major shows across the island and recently completed her UK tour with the queen of dancehall, Lady Saw. Ishawna also opened up on her acting skills, playing lead roles in her two music videos for Murderer, as a woman in a fatal attraction drama and Do for Love playing a role as a sexy female deep in love. Both videos were directed by Mr B, the alter ego for Bogdanovich. They went number one on Hype TV and CVM's Hit List and Fiwi Choice charts. |
