Bittah Sosicka making moves with 'Enough Sweat' |
|||||
Bittah Sosicka - Contributed Red Hills native Peter Cole, better known as Bittah Sosicka, has made a major splash on the Jamaican music scene with his latest single, 'Enough Sweat' (Good Luck). Enough Sweat is aimed at women, with two lyrical edits, radio and street, respectively. The song's radio edit finds Bittah seamlessly maneuvering, toasting and crooning, in the song's verses and chorus, about his admiration for women. The street version does the same in a more explicit manner. Producers of the moment, Washroom Entertainment, riding high internationally with Samantha J's Tight Skirt, produced Enough Sweat. The song's instrumentation is a mid-tempo dancehall track, tinged with a hint of doo-wop influence. This hybrid, coupled with Bittah's melodiousness, gives the song the opportunity to appeal to international palates. potential Elated about the positive feedback the song has been getting, and its potential for further growth, Conroy Forte of Washroom Entertainment described the song-creation process for Enough Sweat. "Bittah Sosicka came to our studio with an idea and lyrics already in his mind. As he began singing, I started beating the drums in a true dancehall pattern, piece by piece, until it worked with what he was harmonising. Before you know it, the song was done. There is certainly a vibe from listeners and industry stakeholders that Enough Sweat can really be big for the artiste," Forte said. Another industry heavyweight that believes in the prospects for Enough Sweat, is popular music selector Boom Boom. "The song Enough Sweat is sick! It's a good song, man. People have already taken on to it already. It's going to be one of the quickest songs to take over the dancehall world," said Boom Boom.
