Prodigal Son recently completed the video for his latest collaboration, I Am Going Home, which features dancehall star Konshens.

The video was directed by Drexsas and Dr Lex, two rising video directors who have been making a name for themselves on the entertainment scene.

In a release to the media, Prodigal Son spoke about how the collaboration with Konshens came about. "The song just happened. We had a discussion about us doing a song, the next thing you know, one day were in the studio," said Prodigal Son.

The concept of the video is quite simple and Prodigal Son has promised fans that it will be worth waiting for when it is released. "It's very simple and to the point. The fans will love this video when it is released," said Prodigal Son.

I Am Going Home and a previously released single and video Mi Know Jah will be featured on Prodigal's upcoming studio album, which is still untitled.

It will be his sixth album and it will be slightly different in content direction when compared to previous albums from Prodigal Son.

"The direction for this record is authentic roots reggae, real positive music. There will be love songs and songs with messages for everyone," said Prodigal Son.

The album is expected to be released in the first quarter of 2014.
