CJ Killawno happy with career

Montego Bay-based dancehall artiste CJ Killawno is excited about the progression of his career.

The video for his singled, Can't Get Me Down, recently entered CVM TV's On The Rise Chart in the number-five spot on the Hit List Show.

"This is the first time that I have a video on the Hit List countdown, I am very happy about that. I have to thank the fans for voting for me, I am truly grateful for their support. My career is moving at a nice pace. My fan base is growing in Jamaica and abroad."

The hard-working singjay, also one of the top tattoo artistes in the Second City, is gearing up to drop another hot new video, Wine For Me, on 'The Flirting Drunk' rhythm.

"The Wine For Me video is ready and I'm going to drop it soon. It will definitely be released before the end of the month," said CJ.

The artiste recently delivered a wonderful performance for the children at Chetewood Memorial Primary School in Montego Bay.

"I was invited to perform at this event for the kids at Chetewood. It was a really nice experience performing for them. I always love to do school shows. The kids are the future and we, as artistes, must give them a positive influence," he said.

CJ Killawno is currently working on a number of projects for various producers.

"Since I released Can't Get Me Down, a lot of doors have opened up for me and I am making use of all the opportunities that are coming my way. Right now I am recording for a number of local and overseas producers. The fans can look out for a lot of new songs heading into the Christmas season," CJ said.
