One man is being sought in connection with the shooting death of three persons outside a supermarket next door the Spring Mount Police Station in St James yesterday afternoon.

Another person was injured and has been hospitalised in stable condition.

Up to press time last night, the names of those killed were not released by the police.

gang feud

The police told THE STAR that the incident stems from a gang feud that developed about two weeks ago in the area.

The latest killings follow a number of deaths that have plagued the western parish in the last month, as gunmen unleash terror on the area.

Last Thursday, a special constable attached to the St James division of the Island Special Constable Force, Jermaine Bartley, was killed execution-style by gunmen at his Irwin Meadows home in Granville.

His common-law wife was also shot during the incident.
