'Gallis' pastor angers residents - Jealous woman attacks clergyman's car

Rasbert Turner, Star Writer

Residents of a rural St Catherine community are peeved at a pastor from a church in the area who they say have been spreading himself instead of the word of God.

The residents tell THE STAR that the pastor has been raising eyebrows with his 'gallis' ways, but things came to a head recently when his vehicle was attacked and damaged by one woman after she saw him with another.

"The man just return with a female and the other girl get vex and chop out him windshield," one resident revealed. Other residents said the incident confirmed their suspicions as jealousy could be the only motive for the attack on the vehicle. They said the woman was so angry, that not even the heavy downpour of rain that was going on could deter her.

It is understood that the pastor has, for sometime, fallen out of grace with the members of his church family. The residents say this however, has not stopped him from continuing with his shocking lifestyle.

They say they are ashamed of how brazen the clergyman has been. "When a person a serve God it is a serious business. Temptation will hit you yes, but God business is very serious," one female resident added.

The damaged windshield was not reported to the police after both parties agreed that it would be repaired.
