King James gets big buzz with 'It's My Life' |

King James Judging by the buzz around "I am getting a lot of feedback about It's My Life on music-sharing websites like soundcloud, and on social-networking sites like Twitter and Facebook. The rhythm for the production was built by Vigor from House of Stars. King James is also trying his hand at production, releasing a new rhythm called the Vipa on his Eva Bless Productions label. "I am also releasing a brand new single called Life Journey from the Life Journey rhythm, and the video is coming for that single as well. Plus, I did the remix to my first single with Kiprich, so the work continues," he said. "The Eva Bless name is really getting out there, because of the popularity of It's My Life and Google Bad Mind, those songs are doing well on radio, and the videos are in heavy rotation," he said. Born Kenroy Gayle, on July 30, 1986, in Mandeville, Manchester, King James moved to the United States at an early age and has been a fan of reggae music all his life. At age 10, he started his musical career as a sound system selector. After about four years, he decided to turn his attention to making music of his own. He has recorded with artistes such as Little Hero and Meeky Melody, and started working on his first album about a year ago, a project simply titled My Life. This album pays homage to an eclectic mix of music influences, and he dubs the project "music for everyone". King James is a devoted father who likes spending quality time with his two sons when he is not in the recording studio. He is now seeking to sign talented producers, songwriters and beatmakers to his Eva Bless Records label. In the future, he wants to kick off his Eva Bless Movement tour where he will perform all over the world, bringing his reggae-soul-dancehall sound to the world. He is now in Jamaica where he has done interviews on FAME FM's 'Full House Fridays', and on TVJ's 'Intense'. |
