An investigation is under way into the allegations that a man who had been married 10 times before attempted to wed an 11th time on Saturday without divorcing the majority of the women.

It was revealed that the man's status came to light last week Saturday during his 11th wedding after a to-be stepdaughter went and made checks about her expected stepfather's position.

"The girl made checks and paid for a search to be done. It was revealed that the man married 10 times before," a man at the wedding told THE STAR.

Meanwhile, several other persons told THE STAR that they have worked at several of the man's weddings.

"Is last year mi work at one of his weddings, and few months after him left di woman," a man said.

THE STAR was told that the man marries and soon after divorces the woman. Sources say the man appears to be a serial bigamist.

He is said to target mostly Christian women who are desperate to walk down the aisle.

Meanwhile, the police said the unusual practice has been brought to their attention and a probe is on.
