Alleged robber set for trial

A man who is charged with robbery with aggravation is set to stand trial in the Corporate Area Resident Magistrate's Court later this month.

He is Kemar Reynolds, who was remanded yesterday. Reynolds is to return to court on October 23. Allegations are that a female student was walking along North Odeon Avenue in the Corporate Area when she was pounced upon by the accused who was armed with a knife.

It is alleged that the accused pushed his hand in the complainant's pocket and stole her mobile phone.

The court heard that Reynolds was later pointed out by the complainant to the police."

Mi nuh know nothing about nuh phone," Reynolds told the court.
