Fashion ruled at Kelly Upsetter b'day party

Patrons were dressed to impress during Kelly Upsetter's birthnight party dubbed: 'Fashion Night Out, Who Owns the Runway'.

The Flava Unit pair of Little Chris and Badda Fling in the wee hours of Sunday morning had the females wining and 'dashing out', so to speak. Disc jocks, Bumpy Cash, Six Killer and Canta were also on hand to whet the musical appetite of patrons.

Badda Bling, called Kelly Upsetter on stage, and spoke highly of the dancehall promoter. He also prayed for her and asked the Lord's blessing upon her. Her cake was in the shape of a fashionable blue dress in keeping with the theme of the party.

When the music was turned off for the third and final time, about 5:30 a.m., patrons, for the most part didn't budge. One woman looking all sexy and on the tipsy side said: "Why dem turn off the music? Dem nuh see me wah wine". Her friend also made her voice be heard. "How party fe done and the sun don't come out yet?" And both girls started to 'bruk it dung', without the music. It was a mixed crowd at the venue.

Also of interest was Johnny British, who was adjudged photographer of the year at the Portmore Awards, was decked out in a Roman soldier outfit that created quite a stir.
