Quarry Hill labourer electrocuted |

Rasbert Turner, Star Writer The body of a man was retrieved from a body of water in Twickenham Park, St Catherine, yesterday after he was reportedly electrocuted while cutting bushes in the area. He has been identified as Kenroot 'Charley' Milligen, 61-year-old labourer of Quarry Hill in St Catherine. Reports are that 11 a.m., Milligen was among four persons cutting bushes in an area near a stream when he got entangled with a live electric cord. "I was at work when I received a call that mi bredda is dead. Is last night mi see him and give him some soup," Icilda Barnes, Milligen's sister said. The Star learnt that the deceased man was flung into the water and was electrocuted before help could reach him. The Spanish Town police are investigating. |
