US-based artiste Benji is moving full steam ahead with the promotion of his latest single, 'Google Bad Mind', featuring Laden.

"Me and Laden link up one day ah the studio, and the idea come about... so same time we go inna the studio, and we do the song and it shot," Benji said.

The single, released recently, has been generating a buzz at street dances in Kingston and doing well in St Elizabeth and Manchester.

He shot the video last week with cameo appearances by selector Foota Hype, dancer Sadiki and artistes Ward 21, in Waterhouse.

Terminal 4 Media directed the video which also features scenes in Belvedere Heights, St Andrew.

"Ah one of the biggest songs pon the NCU campus, every taxi man inna Mandeville a play it, plus Laden have fi him street promotions ah gwaan inna town. It play Tuesday night inna Quad and shell it down," Benji said.

Benji moved to New York as a teenager and, with the support of his mother and family, grew even more confident in his ability to entertain and the innate need to express himself through music.

Benji's entry into the dancehall scene came with his performance at an artiste showcase in Montego Bay where he earned a forward with the saucy stage show song, Fi Get Gal Inna Mi Bed. After that, he was hooked on music.

With his unique style of deejaying and dedication to producing music people enjoy, Benji is unapologetic about the myriad of themes he explores in his music.

His music is evocative, fun and meant to get people to think more about what is possible.

Benji was recently invited to a live interview at the studios of IRIE FM where dancehall fans expressed appreciation for his unique flow and witty rhymes.

"I am getting a lot of love on social media, people are really liking my music, and that gives me a bigger push to do more," Benji said.

Benji is busy in the studios recording singles which will be released in the coming month. He is back in Jamaica where he will be premiering the video for the song, Good Good Talk Fi Itself, featuring Blacker.

He has another collaboration, Brands Of All Brands, featuring Kip Rich.

"I am working hard to improve every day, so the world ah get some great music from me," he said.
