Doritos thief gets three months

Three months' imprisonment was the sentence handed down in the Corporate Area Resident Magistrate's Court on Friday for a man convicted of stealing 27 bags of Doritos chips from The Clan Carthy High School.

Martin Hudson, 21, unemployed from Kingston 3, pleaded guilty to simple larceny.

He confessed that he pushed a stick through the canteen window and stole the items.

According to police reports, on Sunday, September 15, about 7:30 a.m., Hudson was seen leaving the school compound with a bag and a box by the security.

He ran away when an alarm was raised and had to be chased. When he was held, the bag was checked and was found to contain 27 Doritos.

It was later confirmed that the snacks were stolen from the school's tuck shop.
