The police in St Catherine are trying to find the person(s) who shot and killed a man whose body was found inside his car on Sunday.

The police have identified him as Garfield Wilson, 45, of Gordon Pen, St Catherine.

Wilson who is said to be a member of the Port Security Corps was found dead in his Honda Integra motor car.

Reports are that about noon on Sunday, Wilson's car was seen parked along a side road in Waterloo district.

It was observed that a body was inside and an alarm raised.

The police were subsequently called. When a team arrived, the vehicle was opened and Wilson's body was found with what appeared to be two gunshot wounds to the back of the head.

The St Catherine Major Investigation Task Force is probing the matter.
